A woman designing for women: Antje Pugnat has a true understanding of what women want to wear and what makes them feel good in their day-to-day lives. She wants to empower them through fashion.
Antje completed her studies at the RCA in London with a master’s degree in Fashion Design Knitwear, before moving to Berlin. Here her first designs attracted the attention of Wolfgang Joop, leading to a collaboration with Wunderkind. In 2011, she presented her first PUGNAT collection. She now is a master craftswoman, dedicated to creating impeccable shapes and a sophistication of fit. Her work reflects the incredibly rich history of knitting and combines it with idiosyncratic techniques.
You can meet Antje every year at the Paris Fashion Week or during the Open Studio Events.
PUGNAT is based in Berlin, right in the heart of the trendy neighborhood of Potsdamer Strasse, with its busy galleries, restaurants, bars and concept stores.
Antje shares her life with her artist husband and two daughters.
